ALT aims to foster innovation and creative thinking through the use of in-class technology; prepare students' mind/body for optimal learning through proper nutrition; and drive student achievement through increased attention to individual special needs. ALT Works will achieve this mission by partnering with other like-minded organizations and working directly with partner schools, parents, and communities.

Christina is one of the original members of ALT. She has a wealth of experience in healthcare and the not-for-profit sector. She currently serves as the Vice President of Network Management and Medical Affairs at one of Chicagoland's largest Physician Groups. She has a Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance and a Master's degree from DePaul University's School of Public Service. Christina leads the fundraising efforts that fuels ALT's mission. Her passion for anti-obesity movements, coupled with her not-for-profit experience makes her the perfect fit as ALT's Executive Director.


Toyce has a passion for education and interdisciplinary study, with professional experience ranging from logistics, to ecommerce, to risk management. Toyce has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Loyola University, a M.B.A. in Information Systems and Operations from Loyola University School of Business, and is expecting a Masters in Leadership and Policy Studies from DePaul University in 2014. Toyce is currently the Vice President of Product Management for a large, multi-national financial firm, managing global online products for large corporate and financial institutions. Toyce is a founding member of ALT and is responsible for program strategy and partnership development.


As a founding member of ALT, Collin has a very diverse background. With IT consulting and engineering experience, and after four years in the Financial Services industry, Collin has spent the last five years as an IT Director in Academia here in Chicago. Collin received in Bachelor's in Networking from DePaul University in 2002 and a Masters in Business Administration from Phoenix University in 2007. He is expecting is Masters in Leadership and Public Policy in 2014 from DePaul University. Collin is a four year veteran of the United States Marine Corp, and currently serves on a partnership board for a Chicago-based nonprofit assisting adults with developmental disabilities.
